We've paid a few copays in the last three weeks. Si pulled her arm ("nursemaid elbow") and I couldn't put it back in place, Shawn's asthma is back and he was in bed with a terrible cold last week, we've had significant milk supply issues, teething, both girls coughing and congested, and to top it off, baby G fell forward with her booster seat and hit her head on Sunday night. Oh heartache! We rushed to the ER and thankfully only two hours later we were able to go home since she didn't show any high risk signs. She cried right away after the fall, didn't pass out, nothing came back up, and no bleeding in the ears or anywhere else.
Last week army crawl
Last week tricycle ride
Bedtime in the ER (not passed out, actually napping which the nurse encouraged)
Tuesday morning smiles
Slowly our week has been getting better. Wednesday she had a follow up visit and her well visit combined. Her bruise was healing and only yellow. We found out she is off the charts for height, in the middle of the chart for weight, right on schedule for crawling, ahead for her pincer grasp, and the dr was impressed with her alertness and curiosity. Whew. What a relief. Now only occasionally does Sunday's event replay in my mind. :(
Some blessings: My parents bought us a sturdy high chair, Shawn has his energy back, and Si is showing wonderful signs of independence with getting dressed and knowing when she needs the washroom!
