Seven month old and settling in

Our little baby reached seven months this last week! We've had some crazy times, some fun times and some very sleep deprived times in the last three weeks. Not only was the big sister getting used to the train noise, but she is still in that SometimesIdon'tneedanap stage.

Otherwise we kind of have a schedule. I go to work from 7am-4pm (central time). Shawn and the girls meet me for my morning break around 9am and after they sometimes go to the park or library or home if G (I think I should mention that i don't actually call my daughters "G" and "Si". These are just my Internet titles for them.) needs her nap. Then I come home for lunch at noon. After G's afternoon nap she gets a sippycup of milk and so far she does much better than a bottle but not quite enough to equal what she usually gets. But I'm usually home soon after 4pm and we have an early dinner!

One or both of the girls have been getting  up at 5am (4am to you mountain time zone folks!) so we have been going to bed pretty early. Still not enough rest to make up for the last few months though and Shawn and I just came down with colds. And G will be cutting teeth soon. But the good news is that I enjoy my work, the commute is nice, and Shawn is a great cook!

Big Thank You!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us move out and move in! So many helped us and we needed every bit of it.

We had to say goodbye to Papa on the 10th (over two weeks ago!) after getting to spend time with him since the Friday before.

Family time

We survived! Just me and the girls made it to see some family before our big move. I still can't believe we are back in one piece! :) Of course the first day driving was much better than the rest the the driving days. And I have decided that I never ever want to travel like that without my hubby again. If I don't have to.

We decided to celebrate Amy's bday twice this week when we saw her favorite cake on sale early :)

Now to packing!
